Inspiring national and regional presenters will describe how Slow Money works, with examples of successful Slow Money supported businesses. Presenters include:

  • Arno Hesse, co-leader of Slow Money Northern California and investor in multiple local food enterprises. Co-Founder of community funding services Credibles and Investibule.
  • Merrilee Olson of PRESERVE Farm Kitchens, taking farm produce that might go to the compost pile and turning it into a delicious preserved food in jars, for farmers and entrepreneurs to sell.
  • Sherry Flumberfeldt, Director of the Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust which is working to invigorate an active sustainable and local fishing economy
  • Pam Burns of Monterey’s The Wild Plum Cafe serving food, refreshments and inspiration
